The shear test-piloting skills used by Neil Armstrong under extreme pressure is probably the only reason Gemini 8 did not end in disaster. This show also features a look at an energy source for the future: the Moon, as well as a look at the Greenhouse Effect on Earth.

This episode chronicles the flight of Astronauts Alan Shepherd, Edgar Mitchell and Stuart Roosa. The show also includes a segment with an animated character, 'Andy Astronaut', in which he shows us how NASA designed the space suit used on the lunar surface.
11. Apollo 15: In the Mountains of the Moon
A documentary of the flight of Apollo 15. Details the launch, lunar landing, and return to Earth of the spacecraft and crew.

13. Apollo 17: On the Shoulders of Giants
This episode chronicles the last voyage of project Apollo to the Moon, marking the last time humans walked on our nearest planetary neighbour. Also features a look at the highly successful experimental X-15 research project.
