Lee Seungpil is a South Korean actor whose career spans theatre, television directing, and on‑screen performance. A graduate of Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, he began his artistic path in 1984 when he joined the theatre company Woori Theater Company, appearing in more than ten productions over seven years.
In 1992, he transitioned into television, joining Daekyo Children's TV, where he built a long career as a director. During his time there, he directed around thirty drama and entertainment programmes, including the KBS children's musical The Mischievous Concert (개구쟁이음악회), recognised as one of the earliest TV musical dramas for young audiences.
After retiring in 2023, Lee returned to acting, taking part in professional workshops and resuming his work as a screen actor. In 2024, he appeared in the web drama A Celebrity Lives in My House (우리집에 연예인이 산다), playing a company executive in a guest role.
