Mariana Santos, usually credited as Mari Santos, is a filmmaker from Sergipe who studied at the Federal University of Sergipe (UFS). Born on July 23, 2002, in the city of Aracaju, her first project was an intimate short film called "Memórias de uma pessoa perdida", released in 2023. She also participated as assistant director in the pilot of the series A(bi)stratos. She has also made two short films in partnership with Wesllei Cunha, Juliana Neves and Ellen Karoline, called "Não olha para trás" and "Eles estão por perto".
