He has been sailing since 1978, a yacht captain since 1990. Scuba diver, naturalist, enthusiast of polar voyages. He was captivated by the nature of the Arctic and Antarctica. He led sailing expeditions in the Arctic Sea, Greenland Sea, Barents Sea, Norwegian Sea, Bellinghausen Sea, and the Icy Ocean. Co-owner of Selma.
