It was collectively created by Simón Banhos, Oscar Moreschi, Miguel Ángel Biasutto, and Walter Mignolo and produced with funds raised through the Cineclub Sombras, founded by the filmmakers in 1963. The short film won the Best Experimental Film Award at the first International Festival of Experimental and Documentary Film (FICED) organized by the Catholic University of Córdoba in August 1964, with the jury chaired by Canadian Norman McLaren.
